Project description
In the new terminal of Oslo International Airport, five pavilions have been built to accommodate stores and subdivide the space. Each pavilion is an individual free form. The substructure for the exterior and interior cladding was made of wood. Frames made of laminated veneer timber form the main supporting structure of the individual pavilions. These are milled on the top and underside, thus giving them their shape. This allows the inner and outer cladding to be attached directly to the wood.
