Project description
The Centre Georges Pompidou in Metz was opened in 2010. The shape of the roof is reminiscent of an oversized straw hat that is pierced by three concrete pipes. The free-form supporting structure in glulam timber covers
an area of 8,500 m² and was sealed with a membrane.
